Since its establishment in the 1980s, the Nachala Fund has been involved in the development and management of real estate in all areas of settlement in Israel in general and Jerusalem and Judea and Samaria in particular. The Nachala Foundation has set a goal of cultivating the love of the land, assisting in the development of the settlement enterprise through the redemption of the lands.
In its previous incarnation, the association was known as "Nahalat Yisrael-Ramah Association", which was registered in the beginning of 1921 with the Registrar of Cooperative Societies and under which it operated until its cessation following the War of Independence and the armistice agreement with Jordan that left East Jerusalem under Jordanian control.
Beginning in the 1980s, the descendants of members of the "Nachlat Israel-Ramah Association" renewed the association's activities by establishing the fund. The fund's activities include various characteristics of land redemption, both by purchasing from foreign entities that have possession of land in Israel, and by returning lands to their original owners.

Nachala Fund is an essential factor in shaping the borders by buying and holding many lands in many areas, mainly in Judea and Samaria. The fund's activities are based on investors' money that believes in buying land as part of the vision of Jewish settlement. This activity is composed both legally and operationally because of the geopolitical situation in Israel.
Nachala Fund serves as a trust fund for Jews from all over the world who believe in the future of the of Israel and are working to flourish all its lands.
